MindWire is a workforce analytics consulting firm focusing on measuring human capital to predict and enhance the performance of any organization’s most challenging and essential factor, people.  The firm utilizes data to tackle various elements encompassing an organization’s human capital resources, such as hiring the right people, accelerating team performance, assessing and accelerating sales, increasing leadership efficacy, etc. In addition to the company's software platform, Mindwire offers nine unique workshops to its clients covering various topics.

The Challenge:
As a Data Analyst and Team Leader, I led eight other members to discover the importance that Mindwire's workshops had on client retention rates. If there was a correlation between the two, what was the optimal mix of workshops a client could take to produce the highest possibility of contract renewal?

The Action:

Cleaned, analyzed, and merged client data to perform multiple analyses methods, including regressions and decision tree models. Cross-validated all findings to ensure optimal accuracy in models. Gave weekly presentations to provide MindWire with updates regarding the timeline and progress of the research.

The Result:

Identified statistically significant workshops as well as optimal workshop mix combinations that correlate to higher retention rates. Delivered final findings (code and write-up), which offered detailed future-proofing opportunities and actions backed by data insights that the company could leverage to curate workshops and increase client retention rates.
